ZenBuild's PDF editor includes a compression tool that reduces file size while preserving quality. Open your PDF, choose from three compression levels in the Tools drawer, and download the optimized file.
Go to Edit PDF and upload your file by dragging it onto the drop area or clicking to browse. The editor loads the document with a thumbnail sidebar on the left and a full canvas view in the center.

Click the 'Tools' button in the top toolbar to open the Tools drawer on the right. Expand the 'Compress' section and choose a compression level: Low (near-lossless, ~40% reduction), Medium (balanced, ~80% reduction), or High (aggressive, ~90% reduction). Click 'Compress PDF' to process the file. The compressed version downloads automatically.

Results vary by content. Image-heavy PDFs (like presentations or photo catalogs) can be reduced by 50-80%. Text-heavy documents typically see 10-30% reduction since text is already compact.
With Low compression, print quality is virtually identical. Medium and High settings reduce image resolution, which may be noticeable in high-quality prints but looks fine on screen and standard printers.
