ZenBuild's PDF editor lets you split a PDF into separate files right in your browser. Open your document, use the Tools drawer to set page ranges, and download the resulting files instantly.
Go to Edit PDF and upload your file by dragging it onto the drop area or clicking to browse. The editor loads the document with page thumbnails in the left sidebar and a full canvas view in the center.

Click the 'Tools' button in the top toolbar to open the Tools drawer on the right. Expand the 'Split PDF' section. Enter the page ranges you want to extract (e.g., 1-3, 5, 8-10) — each range creates a separate PDF file. Use the thumbnail sidebar to identify which pages you need.

Click the 'Split PDF' button to create your new files. The processing happens in your browser. Download the resulting PDFs — each containing only the pages from the ranges you specified. The original document remains unchanged.

No. Splitting extracts pages without re-encoding, so text, images, and formatting remain exactly as they were in the original.
Starter plan users can split PDFs up to 10MB. Pro and Business plans support larger files up to 50MB and 100MB respectively.
